SCB was established in 1920 by former United States Congressman Lansdale B. Sasscer. Today it is the oldest law firm in Prince George’s County, Maryland. From the time of its inception to the present, the firm has been located next to the Courthouse in Upper Marlboro. Throughout its history it has maintained a commitment to excellence, civility and professionalism. In addition to Congressman Sasscer, our former members include five fellows of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and two Presidents of the Maryland State Bar Association.
