About Vinay S. Katakam
Vinay S. Katakam is a Maryland attorney who concentrates his practice in the area of insurance defense.
Vinay was born in New York and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he obtained a degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Vinay attended Syracuse University College of Law, where he graduated in 2022. Throughout college and law school, Vinay gained valuable experience working at the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender and serving as a summer clerk to the Honorable Debra L. Dwyer and the Honorable Margaret M. Schweitzer in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County.
Prior to joining the firm, Vinay served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter K. Killough in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County.
