About Martin R. Shaw

Martin R. Shaw is a District of Columbia attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of insurance defense and medical malpractice.

Martin was born Fayetteville, North Carolina and raised in Hampton, Virginia. He attended Old Dominion University where he obtained a degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating, Martin attended Howard University School of Law, where he graduated in 2019. While in law school, Martin was an Articles Editor for the Howard Law Journal and a judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Anita Josey-Herring in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining the firm, Martin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William A. Snoddy in the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County.
